Sept 24th to 27th saw the Australian Mixed Doubles (MD) Championships hosted at the Maniototo Curling International rink in Naseby, New Zealand.
The event was Triple knock out, with a winner of the ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ events qualifying for the playoffs.
Team Lyn Gil & Steve Johns won both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ events, with Kim Forge & Hugh Millikin 
winning the ‘C’ event. This put pressure on the Forge/Millikin duo needing to win both playoff games to claim the championship.
The complete score lines are below, and indeed Kim and Hugh will be representing Australia at the World Mixed Double Championships at Chelyabinsk, Russia after a couple of wins on the Finals day.
